State College Borough is asking for community feedback on the electric-assist bike share program launched a year ago in partnership with Penn State.

“The Borough would like to gather residents’ feedback about the bike share program, to ensure the needs and wants of the community are being met,” according to a news release.

The survey is available online and takes about three minutes to complete.

State College and Penn State contracted with electric bike company Spin in August 2021 for the program. About 300 e-bikes are now available on the University Park campus and in State College and Ferguson Township. Use of the bikes requires a $1 fee to unlock and 25 cents per minute, per ride.
