Experts in the suppression of recyclable materials, shredded paper and electronic data carriers were awarded the most important prize for technological innovation in Poland.

At the international environmental technology trade fair Poleco 2021, the Polish subsidiary HSM Polska Sp. Zoo of HSM Germany won Poland's most important award for technological innovation.

Once a year, the professional jury of the Poznan International Trade Fair presents gold awards to products and their manufacturers. There are about 500 contestants in this contest, and they will be judged on the basis of innovation, quality and practicality. At the 2021 Poleco Environmental Technology Trade Fair held from October 13th to 15th, the professional jury selected the V-Press 860 TimeSave, a baler developed by HSM.

“The HSM V-Press 860 TimeSave baler is our response to market demand,” explained Darek Mainka, head of environmental technology sales at HSM Polska, who accepted the award on behalf of HSM from the Polish Minister of Environment Michał Kurtyka. "The loading time of vertical baler is often problematic. We have developed a new solution that is a combination of vertical baler and automatic loading. We have a lifting/tilting device that can empty the collection cart directly to the baler The entire loading and pressing process runs automatically. This is the only baler currently on the market that uses this solution and has obtained the HSM patent."

HSM V-Press 860 TimeSave significantly surpasses the performance of traditional vertical baler. Compared with other vertical balers with automatic loading function, the time required for each bale is reduced by up to 1.5 hours. When directly comparing the HSM V-Press 860 TimeSave with the manual loading model, the time saved is even more obvious. The operator can save up to 5 hours per bundle.
