Chiefs Fit – Country Club Plaza, the premier flagship location for the fitness center concept, will open for member workouts on Thursday, September 8.
The well-appointed, amenity-filled, multi-level facility provides access to nearly 40,000 square feet of state-of-the-art fitness and recovery equipment, including a strength area with Chiefs-branded free weights and machines, as well as a full floor of cardio equipment. The facility also offers the latest in recovery amenities, including full-body cryotherapy treatment, hydromassage, compression therapy, spray tanning, full-amenity locker rooms, as well as red light therapy and infrared cocoon pods.
Boutique-style group fitness classes, including HIIT, strength, yoga, Pilates, stretching, dance and turf training camp classes, as well as personal training services are also being offered, while the facility also includes a retail shop with Chiefs Fit-branded apparel.
In addition, Chiefs Fit's Plaza location boasts a unique rooftop terrace on top of the Jack Henry building, with a turf training area, functional fitness equipment and a private member lounge adding an additional 7,500 square feet of premium space to the facility.

The facility's grand opening celebration, which includes media tours, interviews with Chiefs Fit leadership and a ribbon-cutting, will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, September 9 as part of the club's Red Friday festivities. Chiefs Fit members and prospective members will have the chance to work out with former Chiefs players. There will also be a DJ on the rooftop terrace, appearances by Kansas City Ambassador Shawn Barber and Chiefs Cheerleaders, the Chiefs Rumble drumline and KC Wolf.
