Warning: The following article contains major spoilers, nothing more.

Peloton did not hesitate to fight back against the revival of "Sex and the City", just like that... After the show premiered, the shocking death related to the sports brand's exercise cycle.

The first episode of HBO Max’s reboot premiered last Thursday. When Mr. Big (Chris North) died after exercising on a Peloton bike, the end of the episode took an unexpected turn. Although the cause of death was related to the heart problem that the character suffered before, the sudden death still shocked the audience and Peloton.

According to Deadline's data, after the incident, the fitness equipment company's stock price fell by 5%, twice the average transaction volume. But Peloton took this in stride, making fun of a humorous new commercial in this controversial episode.

In the video posted to social media, North and Coach Peloton, who pushed him too far, can be seen spending a comfortable night by the fire. "A new beginning," North said, recalling another witty Peloton-related ad featuring "Peloton Girl" and Ryan Reynolds. North suggested to ride the bike again, adding: "Life is too short to ride."

Reynolds shared this video on his Twitter, and he provided a voice-over to promote the health benefits of regular exercise. "That's it... he's still alive," the video caption reads.

At the same time, fans’ reactions to the first two episodes of And Just Like That were mixed, but one thing people seemed to agree on was that the show missed Kim Cattrall’s Samantha Jones very much. Cattrall rejected the offer to appear in the new series, and if she recently "liked" it on Twitter, she certainly knew the fans' appreciation.

That's it... I want to rewatch the 2014 HBO Canadian prestigious Toronto series Sensitive Skin, starring Kim Cattrall

Kim cattrall should do a Peloton advertisement

Samantha Jones is a loyal, unjudgmental class act. Boldly try to portray her in other ways. We know better. We know that Kim Cattrall is always worthy of better. #AndJustLikeThat

The restart of "Sex and the City" made it clear why Kim Cattrall quit. She read the script.

#AndJustLikeThat They should call it "No Sex and the City". No Kim Cattrall = no sex, no fun, no humor. Instead, we got the face of death, symbolism, and Charlotte. @KimCattrall you are right pic.twitter.com/5oLskw0TVh

Samantha’s absence was explained early in the premiere, which stated that she had moved to London to work, and when Carrie fired her as a publicist, her “self-esteem was damaged”.

Just like that..., Thursday, HBO Max
